Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

President Lion Woody called the meeting to order at 7pm

Members Present:

Minutes:
Lion Moon read the minutes from the last board meeting.  A motion was made to accept the minutes, second, and passed.

Secretary's Report:

The third and final nomination for board members was made. A vote was cast by the membership to elect the following board members into office:  President:  Larry 'Woody' Woods, Vice President:  Penny Coleman, Secretary: Dave Moon, Treasurer: Judy Woods

Old Business:

•  Our popcorn tent has arrived.  A few members got together to set it up and see how it looks.  Check out these pictures, it looks great:
• Popcorn during Safety Fair, we will be near where the weeny wagon was.
• Lion Woody and Lion Judy purchased the tables for our tent.
• Safety Fair is from Noon to 4 on May 19th, all Lions on Deck for this event

New Business:

• Lion Penny shared some popcorn signs she made, they looked great!
• Lion Moon needs to connect with Charlie W at the school district to arrange for the Lions Club Medical Semi Truck to park during WinterFest.
• Lion Woody paid our entry fee for Shindig, $45
• Lion Woody advised that we were still waiting to get the application for Gold Dust Days, no idea of the cost to participate in that event yet.
• We need someone to price out the cost of soda pop and other snack food to sell at events, the suggestion is to stick with healthy snacks like granola bars.  Lion Woody nominated Lion Rad to check on prices.  
• Lion Moon will check to see if we can sell popcorn at the Vikings football game that is coming to Sultan High School on May 12th.
